Family Fun

To celebrate our 1200th anniversary we put on a free fun day for the Southchurch community.
​
Alongside the flower festival, on Trinity Sunday we put on a fun day for all in our community. Everyone got involved and we laid on a bouncy castle, penalty shoot-out, craft activities, face painting, refreshments, a performance by Show Choir, and a tombola. We managed to give away over 300 burgers and hot dogs - they were a hungry crowd!

Everyone enjoyed themselves, with lots of laughter and chat; we even discovered some budding Southend United recruits at the penalty shoot-out!
